Kent Federation of Young Farmers
FGS Agri is pleased to support The Kent Federation of Young Farmers. A combination of the 8 open clubs and 8 school clubs, they connect almost 500 members with a interest in the countryside, animals and outdoor pursuits. We are proud to support the districts Young Farmers to help support the future of farming and aid young individuals realise their farming ambitions.
North School Young Farmers
FGS Agri are proud to support The North School Young Farmers Club. The school farm is a great resource for the students and we take great pride in supporting this excellent opportunity to nurture the next generation of farmers.
Ashford and District Young Farmers Club
FGS Agri are also proud to support the Ashford and District Young Farmers Club. This club provides young people with a vibrant and friendly social network and plenty of opportunities to learn new skills, work with the local community. We take pride in providing support to these enthusiastic club members who will become the farmers of the future.
Ploughing Matches
FGS Agri supports a number of the ploughing matches that take place in Kent in September. It is a chance to meet our customers and while our operators regularly enter local ploughing match competitions to fly the flag and keep their hand in!
Kent Air Ambulance
FGS Agri and the Heathcote Holdings group are strong supporters of Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance. There are varied events organised by each company to raise money for the charity with the annual company Summer Fun Day being the biggest of these events.
Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust is a registered charity established to relieve sick and injured people in South East England and surrounding areas by providing a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS). Responding swiftly to 999 calls, the Air Ambulance can deliver a highly skilled team of Specialist Doctors and Critical Care Paramedics to the patient at the scene.
Ashford Cattle Show
Each year FGS Agri sponsor the Ashford Cattle Show where young and older farmers compete in an annual exhibition of prime stock, including Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, crops and wool. Money raised from the show and the show dinner goes towards the charities RABI and the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
FGS Agri attend a number of agricultural events throughout the year. You will either find us sponsoring the event or we will have a stand, often bringing along our exhibition trailer. If you wish to discuss any of our services in person come and find us at one of the following events:
