FGS Agri staff at Kemsley Mill, Sittingbourne gave back to the local community by helping with a clean-up event. The employees from FGS Agri joined forces with employees from DS Smith Kemsley Mill,members of the public and Swale Borough Council to spend a morning tidying up their area.
They cut back hedgerows and collected litter in the Meads Community Woodland, filling 35 sacks and removing disused tree guards littering the area.
Graham Appleby, facilities manager at the Kemsley Mill, said: “This is a great opportunity to continue strengthening relationships with both the local council and the public, and also allows our employees to get involved in a community project where they can make a real difference to the environment close to where they work and live.”
