Jonathan West, FGS Agri Managing Director, met with HRH The Princess Royal at Agri-Expo, Wednesday 2nd March, discussing the core activities of the business and explaining the latest developments harnessed by the business including the opportunities bought about by the Anaerobic Digestion sector whereby agriculture can benefit from the application of the digestate by-product to agricultural land as a substitute in part to inorganic fertiliser products.
HRH The Princess Royal acknowledged that Anaerobic technology has been around for many years and that it was marvellous to see the integration of industrial and agricultural processes delivering multiple benefits in a sustainable way. She mentioned that a small scale Anaerobic Digestion plant has just been installed at the dairy in Sandringham.
