An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Workshop enterprise for an agricultural mechanic. FGS Agri, part of the Heathcote Holdings group, is an integrated business supplying the needs of the agriculture and utility sector across the South East. The company prides itself on providing solutions to our clients promptly and professionally, whilst continuing to expand within a rapidly moving sector.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the upkeep of farm contracting equipment; tankers/trailers, self-propelled machines, agricultural equipment and other farm machinery.
- Carry out inspections and repairs to LGV, farm and car trailers.
- Recovery of vehicles on highways and field sites as and when required.
- Carry out, diagnosis and repairs to hydraulics/electrical systems.
Requirements for role:
- Holder of an Engineering Trade Qualification preferably mechanical or engineer would be an advantage.
- 3 years practical experience desirable not essential.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions when required.
- Ability to work within a close team in a family orientated business.

Hours can vary due to seasonality, on call and weekend work managed on a rotational basis.
