An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Thames enterprise based in Hampshire/Surrey/Berkshire for a Mobile Mechanic. FGS Agri are an integrated business supplying the needs of the agriculture and utility sector across the Southeast, as part of Heathcote Holdings Group. The company prides itself on providing solutions to our clients promptly and professionally, whilst continuing to expand within a rapidly moving sector.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and upkeep of a variety of self-propelled machines and agricultural equipment
- Service, repair and maintenance of a range of machines, including LGV’s.
- Undertake welding, fabrication, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
- Inspection of machinery as necessary, ensuring that repairs are undertaken safely and in line with approved methods.
- Conducting initial assessment of plant or equipment reported as faulty, identify root cause, and formulate a remedy either as a temporary fix or full-service repair.
Requirements for role:
- Full Clean driving licence
- LGV Class 2 licence required.
- Hold an Engineering Trade Qualification, preferably mechanical, engineer or welder equivalent would be an advantage.
- 5 years practical experience
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions when required.
- Ability to work alone and in a team.
