We offer round baling of silage, haylage, hay and straw from 4 – 5ft diameter, with the added benefit of a chopping option to increase fermentation and reduce effort for feeding the stored crop.
We offer square baling of 90 x 120cm or 120 x 70cm section and up to 2.4m in length to provide high density bales to reduce storage requirements. All baler operatives are fully competent, experienced and equipped with moisture meters to ensure the best quality of forage or straw being baled.
FGS Agri can complete all agricultural operations from mowing and conditioning to turning and rowing up. To complement our baling services we have a fleet of loader tractors, fastracs, telehandlers, flat trailers, artic trailers and lorries to haul and stack bales over any distance required.
Round Baling
Round baling is undertaken by our John Deere V451M baler. We offer a choice with our round baling services as we have the capability of chopping the grass which will speed up the feeding process when it ends up in your feeder wagon. The baler can produce between 4ft and 5ft bales.
Square Baling
Square baling is undertaken by our Claas Quadrant 5200 and Krone BigPack 1290HDP balers. We are able to bale all types of crop to suit all your baling requirements.
Wrapping
Round and square bale wrapping is completed with our trailed machines to ensure quick wrapping of baled product, reducing any spoilage of the silage or haylage.
