Continuing to support Young Farmers in 2026
At FGS Agri, supporting the next generation of farmers has always been an important part of what we do. We look forward to continuing our commitment to Young Farmers Clubs throughout 2026, building on a positive and active year of engagement during 2025.
Looking Back at 2025
Last year was a rewarding one, with several hands-on opportunities designed to give young people real insight into modern agriculture. Our support included sponsoring events, educational visits, farm tours and practical community projects such as Ashford Young Farmers’ Christmas tree recycling initiatives. Highlights included the Weald of Kent Young Farmers farm visit, where members were able to see livestock management first-hand. We also helped with the provision of branded hoodies and jackets for Homewood School Young Farmers and North School Young Farmers, enabling the young farmers represent their clubs with pride.
Our support reached further afield too, when we welcomed an international group of students from an agricultural school in Salzburg, offering them a practical look at UK farming and encouraging knowledge sharing beyond borders.
Investing in the Future of Agriculture
We understand how valuable positive, practical experiences are for those considering a future in agriculture. By opening our gates, sharing knowledge and supporting youth-led initiatives, we aim to help young farmers build confidence, skills and enthusiasm for the industry.
We look forward to another productive year working alongside local Young Farmers Clubs and supporting those who will shape the future of farming in 2026 and beyond.
