FGS Agri at the Weald of Kent Ploughing Match 2026
FGS Agri enjoyed a fantastic day at the Weald of Kent Ploughing Match 2026, held at Hengherst Farm, Woodchurch, on Saturday 12 September.
It was great to speak to so many farmers, landowners, customers and familiar faces who stopped by the stand throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who came over for a chat and took the time to find out more about our work.
Bringing the FGS businesses together
FGS Agri attended alongside sister companies FGS Pilcher and FGS Organics, with Habitat Regeneration and DJB Machinery also represented, bringing together expertise from across agriculture, soil and nutrient management, water resilience, earthworks and habitat creation.
A wide selection of machinery was on display, including an FGS Agri tractor and baler, alongside FGS Pilcher’s CAT D6 XE dozer and specialist equipment from FGS Organics.
The machinery certainly attracted plenty of attention, with the impressive bale chaser proving particularly popular with visitors.
Modern agriculture in the main ring
One of the highlights of this year’s event was our appearance in the main ring, where machinery from across the FGS businesses took part in a driven display.
During the demonstration, the commentator talked through the story of modern agriculture and how different services and technologies come together to support today’s farming businesses.
For FGS Agri, this included showcasing modern baling equipment and the technology now available to help improve productivity, efficiency and the management of the crop at harvest.
The wider demonstration also explored areas including water resilience and on-farm reservoirs, sustainable fertilisers, soil health and modern application technology, providing a practical look at how farming continues to evolve.
Thank you for joining us
The Weald of Kent Ploughing Match remains a great opportunity to meet people from across the local agricultural and rural community, share knowledge and showcase some of the machinery we use every day.
A big thank you to everyone who visited the FGS stand, as well as the teams involved in organising the event and making our display possible.
We look forward to seeing you again next year.
