These large, equal sized wheel tractors are used for applications demanding high horsepower. Our Xerion are used for baling with our Hesston Baler to cultivating, drilling with our 5 and 6 meter Simba Solos, fitted with seeder units, and subsoiling using a seven leg Tim Howard subsoiler. Fitted with 42” radius, 710mm wide tyres they have a large contact area, giving high tractive power with low ground pressure meaning they perform similar to a crawler but with none of the disadvantages. Benefits include reduced scuffing of the headlands and roads when turning, 50 km/h transport speeds (where legal) and cheaper replacement tyres than tracks, all whilst maintaining the manoeuvrability of a conventional tractor with their 4 wheel steering.
