Maize Drilling:
Our Vaderstad Tempo 8 Row drill offers high speed drilling without compromising singulation and the greatest output with the highest quality of drilling. When fitted with the larger seed hoppers and fertiliser hopper, this drill is able to drill almost 20 hectares without stopping to refill for seed or fertiliser, maximising output. RTK guidance enables us to use row by row auto shut off, optimising the use of both seed and fertiliser. Maize drilling is carried out using John Deere Greenstar GPS guidance, providing precision drilling across your field.
Conventional Drilling:
We have a 6m Vaderstad disc cultivator drill and a 6m Horsch sprinter tined cultivator drill, both of these drills are capable of drilling all seeds from oilseed rape to cereals and beans. We also have a 3m Combination Drill which is a rotary cultivator seeder for small seeds and cereals, drilling into cultivated or ploughed land.
Direct Drilling:
We have a 3m Moore Uni-drill for direct drilling operations. Our direct drill offers precise, consistent seed placement in a single pass. It is a 3m mounted drill with 32 coulters, which gives 9cm spacing. Direct drilling decreases soil disturbance, preserving the ecosystem in the soil. This strengthens the soil structure, helping to reduce compaction and conserve moisture, all of which have a direct correlation with crop yields.
