You will be working with a range of modern machinery alongside a hardworking, friendly and professional team. Key Features:
  • Operate machinery, including combine harvesters and drills.
  • Square and round baling – hay, silage and straw
  • Mowing, tedding, raking and wrapping
  • Muck/sludge spreading
  • Bale carting
  • Tractor/trailer driving
  • Telehandler operations
  • 360 excavator operations
  • Low loader work
  • Vacuum tanker work
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Arable Manager in the day to day running of the Arable Enterprise.
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on plant and machinery, including greasing and fault identification
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the plant and equipment such that it portrays a good company image.
  • Arable and general farm work
  • Ensure all paperwork and records of operations are completed.
Requirements for role:
  • Full driving licence
  • 3 years practical agricultural experience desired.
  • PA1, PA2 & PA4 desirable but not essential.
  • PA4S/G and PA6 desirable

FGS Agri Ltd are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join the team based in Pluckley, to assist with payroll processing for the Heathcote Holdings Group. The role will involve the following:
  • Processing multiple company payrolls covering both weekly & monthly payments to employees.
  • Reconciliation of processed payroll deductions & adjustments.
  • Compiling and submitting pensions data to our provider within the required timescales.
  • Creating payroll journals for the finance teams.
  • General payroll duties covering the processing of starters & leavers.
  • Assisting with payroll queries when required.
  • Assisting with processing P60/P11D returns and data required for audit of various company financial statements.
The successful applicant should possess the following:
  • Previous experience working as a payroll assistant or administrator, ideally covering multiple company payrolls.
  • Experience in completing complex payrolls with high amounts of variable pay elements and adjustments would be beneficial.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the proficient use of “vlookup” formula.
  • Experience of using IRIS Cascade would be advantageous, however not essential.
  • A payroll qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Being able to prioritise tasks and work under time pressure.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • GCSE level 4 or equivalent in Maths and English.
The role is a permanent full-time position, however a part time or flexible working arrangement may be considered.

  • Undertake welding and fabrication work as necessary.
  • Safely move and handle various materials throughout the yard.
Responsibilities:
  • Repairing of large format temporary roadway Matts using handheld extrusion welders with HDPE material.
  • Keeping work area/site clean and tidy.
  • Ensure regular communication with management to assist with smooth supply and completion of matt repairs.

The role will be centred around the day-to-day delivery of contract spreading services to the Thames Water contracted farmer customers in Surrey.   • To organise daily requisites to include fuel, transport in order to perform the daily work instructions.
  • Operate large spreading machines, associated equipment and plant as requested.
  • Be able to read and record instructions electronically.
  • Be used to working with precision guidance and mapping software.
  • Be multi skilled to confidently operate a range of machinery.
  • Keep all vehicles clean and tidy as well as washing and maintaining appearance.
  • To report in any faults with plant and machinery.
  • Be able to carry out basic maintenance
  • To undertake and perform manual duties from time to time, that do not require machinery such as farm and estate maintenance including fencing and ditch clearance and building maintenance work.
