FGS Agri and our sister company, Habitat Regeneration, were delighted to host a visit from DEFRA and a selection of EU Representatives at Stanford Bridge Farm. During the visit, we had productive discussions about the various environmental land management schemes designed to support farmers and the obstacles hindering their adoption.
The topic of UK beef production was extensively covered during our conversations. We provided detailed insights into our cattle management practices, emphasising our commitment to prioritising the welfare of our livestock. Furthermore, we delved into the challenges confronting the UK beef industry.
Overall, the day proved to be highly informative for all involved parties, and we eagerly anticipate the comprehensive scheme set to be unveiled in 2024.
